TeNNIS PROGRAMS

League Information

We field multiple USTA Teams for Men and Women each season. League play is in the spring, summer and fall. These are fun, competitive and winning teams!

Men’s Tuesday Night League - Held year-round, this program runs weekly, usually starting at 6:30pm. All levels are welcome. Play is accompanied by refreshments. This is an excellent way to shake off work, keep your game sharp, and unwind with friends.

Ladies’ Clinics - Seasonal clinics are held year round for all skill levels. We offer weekday and weekend opportunities to improve your game and enjoy socializing on and off the court.

Drop-in Drills - Offered seasonally, throughout the year, the available formats include men, women, rookie and cardio.

Junior Programs

Little Tennis (Jrs. 4-6) - This is where it all begins. These programs focus on games that improve eye-hand coordination, promote sports and fun, and develop cooperation among the kids and staff. Kids use Red (36 ft.) and Orange (60 ft.) balls and courts.

10 and Under (Jrs. 7-10) - Students learn basic stroke production through drills and instructional games. Kids play using orange balls on our 60 ft. tennis courts.

12 and Under (Jrs. 9-12) - Clinics are taught using green low bounce tennis balls on the full 78 ft. court. Kids are taught topspin on their ground strokes and proper serving grips.

Yellow Futures (Jrs. 11-14) - For juniors that have graduated from the Green Ball or are using Yellow Balls in their middle school or JV Program. This is also a training group that is preparing for a potential move to our JV/Varsity Academy.

JV/Varsity (Jrs 12-16) - Advanced training for kids on their JV or Varsity school team. Participation is based on approval of the coaches.

Socials

From mixers for the grown-ups to kids’ events, at Hope Valley we make socializing an important part of the year-round tennis experience. Every year our annual banquet celebrates the year past and looks forward to the one to come. Every holiday offers a reason to celebrate on the courts, courtside or both.

Exhibition matches featuring top area players draw crowds while cheering for our own teams is a regular way to enjoy being part of the HVCC tennis community.
